FAQ

Where is your studio located? Can I/we come visit it?

This is one of the most common questions we get, but the answer is not as simple as the question. Our studio is under construction in the East Beaches area of Manitoba, however we are currently operating out of Mississauga Ontario’s Living Art Centre, as our artist is there completing grant work for the Canadian Council for the Arts. When he returns the studio in Victoria Beach will move forward with opening, and we will update you with hours where you can come down to watch us work.

Do you do custom work/commissions?

Yes! Whether you want some of our work in a colour that’s not listed, or a completely unique piece just for you, we can make it. Just email us through our contact page with your idea and we can discuss making it happen for you. We want to help you fill your home with art you love, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship our glass across Canada and The USA, no matter the province, territory, or the state we can get our work to you. As we continue to grow we plan to expand to ship worldwide from our online store, with Europe coming next!

What’s your shipping policy?

We ship all across Canada and the USA, with shipping options for express or regular. All shipments will be made as soon as the work is complete, and you can see the expected time for the completion and shipping of the piece you’re ordering in its description on the shop page (typically 1-2 weeks).

Custom Orders / Commissions

Please allow up to 6 weeks for custom orders. A timeline will be discussed when the order is placed.

How can I be sure my piece will arrive safely?

Many people have fears about glass breaking during shipping, and this is understandable. Know that we do everything in our power to ensure that our work reaches you in one piece! All work is packaged in bubble wrap, and secured with recycled paper to ensure there is no movement within the package, as the saying goes, “if it shakes, it breaks!” So we make sure that your glass stays put safely in the box it’s shipped in. Any pieces that do arrive damaged will be replaced as long as there is evidence provided that the piece was damaged by the carrier within 3 days of the items arrival.

What is your return/exchange policy?

All sales are final. However we do accept exchanges for items of equal or greater value within 40 days of purchase. We are not responsible for the cost of shipping on returns or exchanges. All items returned must be in sellable condition. Customers are responsible for packaging the items for shipping, and Lake Winnipeg Glassworks is not responsible for any damage to the items shipped by the customer.
